On behalf of the organising committee, we are honoured to welcome you to Bali-Indonesia for the 2^nd Interpol Disaster Victim Identification Asia Pacific Rim Group Meeting on July 28-31, 2003. The scientific program will promise to be one of the world-class best programmes, as the programme features a great variety of current most interesting topics in the area of DVI, which are highly relevant to our daily routine work. Emphasis will be focused on the various regional disasters in particular in the recent Bali Blast Case. 
The organizing committee especially the local committee in Bali has endeavoured their best to plan the most exciting cultural and social events. 
In July the weather in Bali is expected to be sunny, which is the most comfortable and pleasant season of the year.
